Hi my name is Jocelyn, I'm a recent San Jose State graduate majoring in Animation/Illustration with a minor in Chicano Studies!

My focus is in visual development and illustration. I really love telling stories in my work through environments, props and characters. One of the best feelings is getting swept up into a good story, so my goal is to always create work that invites viewers into the world that I have created. I am also always drawn to themes revolving around culture, history and identity since I come from a multicultural background being Native American Pomo and Mexican American. It is part my personal goals to highlight stories of underrepresented communities through my work.

On my free time I love to read, watch films, play with my lovebird Loco, traveling and ultimately spend time with friends and family.
